Is there more to Mount & Blade than being a group of rumble tumble bandits walking around towns and being robbed? My only memories of M&B are of being a slave and getting raped for nights and nights until i managed to escape, then walking around town because it was fun talking to people.

I’ve mostly played the improved Warband version of the game. The campaign is very similar to Sid Meier’s Pirates!. Once you learn how to control your character it is easy to win encounters and continue with other parts of life. You can trade, marry, manage towns and even found your own kingdom.
