Valkyria Chronicles
Very, Iām running it at above 4K resolution and my GPU usage is barely 50%
This shit would run well on old laptops.
Ah yeah, they werenāt rendered real-time. Thatās what you want anyway, the DMC HD collection gives no fucks and stretches that shit.
The cutscenes are a shame but the main game looks gorgeous downsampled from 4K.

You two better be fucking buying this. For all the interminably shit JRPGs that get posted about on this forum that arenāt worth the breath that was used to create them, you better not be fucking ignoring one of the best JRPGs of the last gen.
I already played it back in 2008. It was my GOTY, IIRC. The sequel was a disappointment and I havenāt touched the fan translation of the third game.
If itās Ā£5 on a Steam sale then Iāll double dip.
Iāve got it on PS3, didnāt get too far. Iāll pick it up during the Christmas sale for sure.
Call it what you want, but itās pretty fucking J
I own all three games, but I havenāt played much of them. I remember playing the demo of the first game on PS3. I recall rather sucking at it at the time. Iām rusty at strategy RPGs. I donāt play them as often as Iād like.
Iām pretty bad at strategy RPGs. I hated Advance Wars but i couldnāt stop playing it. Evil game.
Valkyria Chronicles is different from most turn-based RPGs. Ranking is solely based on how many turns you use to complete the level objectives. Personally, I find it more fun to destroy as many enemy units as possible.
You should play the Shining Force games. Theyāre like a beginnerās entry to the strategy RPG genre. Quite easy, and you can ease into how the fundamental mechanics work. If anything, itās good practice if/when you play harder strategy RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics, Arc the Lad, or Growlanser.
Valkyria Chroniclesā¦ is coming to PC?
fuck. whyād I land a perfect job this year. i could have spent it playing valkyria chronicles forever.
