I could see myself getting a new TV in a few years. If 55" 4K OLED TVs become affordable I could see myself getting one of those.

You want to wait for the Rec.2020 standard before going 4K. Should be quantum dot and OLED TVs sporting them in due time.

At the moment I don’t have any device that is capable of rendering at 4K resolution. It will be a few years before I make the transition.

Well yeah that’s the other reason why it’s not worth bothering.

I can run very little at 4K 60fps.
