Gust announces Yoru no Nai Kuni (A Land without Night) for PS4/PS3/PSV

A new action RPG from Keisuke Kikuchi, whose known for the Deception and Fatal Frame series, it is set on “Rusewall Island,” where no one sleeps at night, and depicts the fate of two girls. In battle, players will make use of a demon sword and fight alongside contract-gathered demon subordinates called “Servan.”

The game’s characters include:

  • Arnas (voiced by MAO) – The half-evil protagonist.
  • Lyuritus (voiced by Hiromi Igarashi) – A saint.

And some staff:

  • General Producer – Tadanobu Inoue
  • Development Producer – Keisuke Kikuchi
  • Illustration – Yoshiku

Yoru no Nai Kuni is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan on August 27. The console versions will cost 6,800 yen, while the handheld version will cost 5,800 yen. A limited edition is also planned.

It’s refreshing that they’re trying something different. The story sounds interesting. We’ll see what comes of this.

Whoa. That looks great. It looks like you can command summons or monsters. It sort of reminds me of the game Folklore.
