Yo-Kai Watch 3

Level-5 announced Yo-Kai Watch 3 for 3DS during its Level-5 Vision press conference in Japan today.

Yo-Kai Watch 3 is set in St. Peanutsburg, a town located somewhere in the United States of America, where Keita moves after his father is transferred overseas. It’s different from Sakura New Town, but just like the series’ former location, it’s filled with Yo-kai. Keita will encounter a number of “American Yo-kai” here, with everything from their looks to their abilities having an “American” feel.

Fantasy Life 2

Level-5 announced Fantasy Life 2 for smartphones during its Level-5 Vision event in Japan today.

Due out this summer in Japan, players will be able to make their own character and enjoy life in a new “Village,” which you’ll facilitate on behalf of god. Players will be able to view the village from a god-like perspective, as well as walk around it on their own with their allies. Up to four players will be able to play together and participate in activities such as fighting, cutting down trees, and mining.

Yo-Kai Watch Busters

Level-5 announced Yo-Kai Watch Busters: Akanekodan and Shiroinutai (Yo-Kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team and White Dog Squad) for 3DS during its Level-5 Vision press conference today.

The action game, due out in Japan on July 11, builds upon the “Yo-Kai Watch Busters” mode introuced in Yo-Kai Watch 2. Players take on the role of a Yo-kai of their choosing, and can adventure with up to three other friends in local and online multiplayer. The Yo-kai you were able to befriend in Yo-Kai Watch 2 are all playable, and as them, you’ll battle against over 25 boss Yo-kai.

Yo-Kai Sangokushi

Level-5 and Koei Tecmo are collaborating for a 3DS Yo-Kai Watch and Romance of the Three Kingdoms crossover game called Yo-Kai Sangokushi, Level-5 announced at its Level-5 Vision event today.

The large-scale collaboration project is produced by Koei Tecmo’s Kou Shibusawa.

Further details were not announced.

The Snack World

Level-5 announced The Snack World, its fourth cross-media project following Inazuma Eleven, The Little Battlers eXperience, and Yo-Kai Watch, during its Level-5 Vision press conference today.

The Snack World is a “hyper casual fantasy” that will encompass a 3DS, iOS, and Android game, full CG TV anime, manga, Takara Tomy toy line, and nationwide movie release.

Nintendo will publish the original Yo-Kai Watch in the United States, Europe, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, the company announced.
