Nvidia announces new Shield TV

#1

4K, HDR streaming from GTX-powered PCs, plus native game libraries.

It’s the same internal hardware as the original. Just a new controller and smaller chassis.

The software updates will be coming to original shields, which I’m happy for since I have one. Also excited for assistant and potentially Nvidia spot.

Do you still use it? I can’t see myself playing many PC games on a small screen. Maybe it would be alright for the new Mass Effect.

Small screen? It hooks to your TV.

We use it everyday, between Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and Plex.

As far as game streaming, I’ve tested it and it works well but haven’t used it for any extended period.

I was thinking of this. If it’s just a streaming device then it’s not really useful for me.
