For some time now, certain keys (mainly the letter keys) won’t work with the shift button to capitalize them. I believe it’s related to the media buttons on top of the keyboard because one time I kept pressing one of the volume buttons repeatedly until the shift + letter key combinations worked again. The keyboard brand is Azza. Most likely a generic brand. My guess is one or more of the media buttons are stuck halfway, and it’s resulting in interfering with the function of other keys on the keyboard. I’ve done some reading from other people having the same issue on the internet, and they’ve said it relates to Windows 8 and how it handles media integration with the keyboard.
Should I buy a keyboard from a trusted brand, like Logitech, to see if that solves it?
