The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter will launch on October 29th for Steam, GOG.com, and via the PS Store for $29.99.
Hard to believe this is coming out. Let’s hope this turns out to be as successful as the Steam version of FC, so it’ll encourage XSEED to localize Third Chapter. Then who knows! Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki could be in the cards eventually.
Developed by legendary RPG specialists Nihon Falcom, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in The Sky SC picks up mere hours after the conclusion to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, with Estelle traveling across Liberl in search of Joshua. Her journey involves more than seeking loved ones, however, as the Bracer Guild also tasks her with unraveling the mysteries behind the newly unveiled Society of Ouroboros.
In The Legend of Heroes: Trails in The Sky SC, Falcom’s celebrated Sound Team jdk returns with a massive and highly lauded score that perfectly complements the tumultuous resolution to one of the most moving and expansive JRPGs ever created. The series’ staple strategic turn-based system with unmatchable customization has been taken even further with all new arts, crafts, upgraded orbments, and combo attacks. The meticulously detailed land of Liberl awaits the player’s return with new quests, mini-games and collectibles to offer, along with a host of both new and familiar locations that are populated with hundreds of unique NPCs, each featuring his or her own story to tell.
If I get 50 hours out of it then I’m fine with the price. The larger issue for me is that I’m already alternating between way too many games, and it is likely that it will end up collecting digital dust on my digital shelf.
I beat undertale, true pacifist ending, tears were shed
the final boss of neutral end was some madoka magica tier shit, the art style I mean
not sure if i will play again to murder everyone i love for genocide ending
I hate the visuals of Undertale but it intrigues me.
Is it anywhere near as good as ‘they’ say?
the writing/music is a++
the art is mostly solid with some crazy animation moments like some bosses
seriously one of my favorite rpg experiences ever and ive played a lot of em
To buy Trails in the Sky SC or not… $30 for a digital game is a hard pill to swallow, but it is SC. I’ve been waiting to play it for a long time.
I’m already playing too many RPGs so I’m going to hold off for a while. I also can’t decide if I want it for Steam or Vita.
