the only store i know that sells comic books is half an hour away, which is quite a lot when you live in a country thatās only five hours long

Do you think youāll ever move somewhere else?
I really want to move out of Michigan at some point in my life, but everything I know and love is here. But I hate the weather and something like Boulder, Colorado would be amazing. So full of life! and legal weed!
No. I literally just want to get my own place in this city and stay here for as long as possible. Maybe move to the next town, but thatās it. Iād love to see other places and still really enjoy what little there is to explore close by, but concerning establishing a place to live permanently, iām not planning on moving anywhere.
I keep thinking, like i have this one friend whoās lived in england, denmark and belgium, and for significant periods of time as well, because heās eurochasing his career of being some weird specific sort of bioengineer. I imagine there has to be some value in that, not just, well, āvalueā as āiāve done more things with my lifeā, but also in learning a much better grasp of humans and human related subjects like culture and art than someone living a settled lifestyle, and thatās something iād be willing to invest in but honestlyā¦ meh. I donāt feel so strongly about it that iād consider moving away. Maybe if i have enough money one day (which i suspect wonāt happen), iād like to move for half an year or something, to be a stranger again.
I moved from Spokane, WA to the bay area in California. It hasnāt been easy, but I have enjoyed it immensely. For me, I have been able to connect and make friends with other like minded people, programmers and the like. It is great to be able to go to meetups and talk with people about things you enjoy and work on, sharing war stories or cool things youāve done.
In Spokane, I had a group of friends that met up once a week, but it was a small group and our overlap of technologies was not that great. In the bay area, not only do we converse, but by meeting people it opens up my career paths as well. Getting job requests from the people I talk with, makes you feel pretty good.
I do miss Spokane; I miss my family; I miss the cost of living; I miss a lot of things from home, but right now in this time of my life, it makes so much sense to be chasing my career and seeing how far I can get. Iāve been able to claw my way out of the gutter into a pretty decent lifestyle and actually have savings!
Will I stay in California my whole life? That I donāt know, and probably wonāt happen. Will I move soon, well probably not as the only reason to move away from this area would be cost of living, but my job and income opportunities dwindle further away. I honestly want to build up a nest egg, something that can cover us for a while, then I can look into finding a nice company that does remote work. We could move back home then, and have the security necessary.
Okay, I think that is enough from me.
Midnight, my man! My family and I have been talking about moving to Colorado. You got the snow, mountains, and forests in the north, and warmer climate in the south. In southern Colorado, it stays really warm, since itās near the desert region.
Iām SO fucking sick of rain and snow weather in Illinois. Motherfuck this state.
Chrome is a disgusting battery hog on OSX. Even when my laptop sleeps, apparently. Weāre talking about 10x more battery usage at stand by. (20% gone v. 2% this morning) I was shocked how little battery was gone when I opened my MBP this morning.

Mad Max Lewandowski couldnāt save Bayern from its fate.
Bayern played so fucking horrible, had 0 on target shots for the entire first half of the game and then some. Goddam.
Boateng and Neuer were the only thing left, but Messi decimated both.
Thatās the best part of being a student. What are your plans for the summer? Do you need to work or can you afford to just relax?
@LabouredSubterfuge Congrats on signing Memphis. Heās a great talent and very professional for his age.
