Sony announces new smartphone games: Wild Arms, Arc the Lad, Disgaea, Square Enix project, and more

Sony Corporation held a press conference in Japan today where it announced its upcoming slate of smartphone titles from its March-formed ForwardWorks, a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Other games include Hot Shots Golf, and PaRappa the Rapper. Too bad Wild Arms and Arc the Lad were given the mobile game treatment. The image for Wild Arms in the article shows heroes from all the Wild Arms games. I hope that doesn’t mean it’ll have a premise where the main characters of each Wild Arms game will meet in a new dimension, similar to Dissidia.

I hope this turns out well. I like many of these franchises and having them on my phone would be nice.

That’s awesome, Wild Arms is one of my all time favorite PSX series. Arc the lad was good on PS2. Eager to see how these turn out.

Still havent tried playing FF Tactics on my android, should give that a shot.

Not sure how to feel…the vita could have used some of those games :cry:
