Nope. Yuuzhan Vong invasion and Darth Caedus were the highs of the EU books. Abeloth was even pretty good as well, from Fate of the Jedi. At least the beginning, when all the Jedi were becoming paranoid crazy, and perceiving everyone around them as replaced robots.
