The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D confirmed by Nintendo
I had trouble getting into the other 3D Zelda port for 3DS. Is this much better or more of the same?
I’ve honestly never been able to play much of the N64 Zeldas. Tried it before when I was younger but kept getting lost and wasn’t sure what to do in the 3-day span. Planning on playing through it this time with a guide.
Be that as it may, for people who loved the originals and those who never played them, this is a dream come true.
I think everyone knows Link’s Awakening is and will always be the best Zelda.
I’m going to back pedal a bit on my “overrated” stuff. I don’t think I’m being fair in branding the 3D Zeldas without a good attempt at playing them. I vastly prefer the 2D Zeldas, but I shouldn’t be saying the other Zeldas aren’t as worthy because of a perspective shift.
Sorry.
Lightning Returns reminded me all too well how much I dislike games which consistently push you forward in game time or face “game over”. It made me reminisce of the frustration I had with Majora’s Mask’s time system. You better hope you don’t get stuck in a dungeon because of a difficult puzzle, or prepare to rewind time repeatedly. I had that problem with the infamous water dungeon. To this day, since the original game’s release, I have a save at that dungeon. If they adjust the speed of time or difficulty, I’d be willing to give the remake another shot. Even if they were to increase the amount of time until the moon came crashing down would be appreciated.
Well, i’ve never played Majora and i’m instead hoping they keep the N64 spirit as intact as possible, so i’d rather they didn’t alter it that much.
Yeah, this is a game where I’m gonna need to follow a guide.
Haven’t done that since the beginning of the internet.
I was trying to hold off on playing the virtual console version on the wii due to it being outdated and probably ugly on the big screen.
Having a remaster of this on an entirely new game is something to be excited about. Now I still need to clear some Zelda backlog before getting into this one though. Playing OOT remaster and the 2 GBC games. The 2 GBC games came after OOT and then MM came after them, right?
Lore wise? They’re in different timelines, MM happens happens in the child Link world, the Oracle games happen when Ganondorf win against Link, and after LTTP.
