I beat Peace Walker for real now. Didn’t know Paz was voiced by Nana Mizuki, so the song was a pleasant surprise. I also beat Ground Zeroes. I got a little clumsy trying to get Paz out, but I figured out where she was right away. Took me an 1hr and 30m, got a B rank. Those trucks explode real fast, I don’t understand.

Dude the gameplay is solid as fuck, though.

Also for like the first hour of playing the game I had texture downscaling turned on, because I misread it a downsampling and I was really confused why the graphics were so shitty, lol.

Out of the two, the latter, but neither really. I mean that since MGS is now a mass appeal game, it has to have the same boring as fuck gameplay tutorials every single one of these games have because they’re making 'em for your people now.

The slo-mo react is pretty hand-holdy though. I think it’d be a cool mechanic if the timer were shorter, sort of like a QTE. I’m not using it but from what I’ve seen, people shoot the guy and then they’re just staring at the body for like 3 more seconds.

I went back to Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP since I never got very far. It’s incredibly pretty, but I’m not liking much else about it. Currently, I’m in a convoluted part of the game where I have to adapt to the real-life lunar cycle.
