Holy crap Binary Domain is super fun, the story is actually very interesting!

#883

I love Binary Domain

#884

CS:GO feels mushier if that makes sense.

Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4) feels a lot better than the Vita version. Partly to the larger screen size (46" in my case) and the increased frame rate (steady 60 FPS), but mostly because of the controls. Completing the optional side missions is so much easier for me using a gamepad.

The combat is not exciting, but I do love the feeling of shifting gravity. Characters are charming and the game is set in an interesting universe. There is also some extra content. Yesterday I ended up doing side quests for a “Maid Pack” that I sure as hell didn’t spend money on.

#886

holy crap robot pregnancy??

#887

wow this is all kinds of fucked up

I’m warming up for a new GAF tournament.

Now I have access to the YouTube account again. That’s easier than trying to find a good free hosting service.

#890

#891

I won my first game in the group stage.

#892

#893

Congrats! I missed the engagement.

#894

you can see i was too cheap to wear a dress myself

Bravely Second: End Layer (3DS) is incredibly polished. Combat is fast and you can regulate the speed, it can be played with one hand, and you can program auto attacks. The writing is clever and not overly long. Making it a direct sequel is a bit of weird choice since it makes the target audience a lot smaller. I guess it allowed them to recycle a lot of content.

Job classes got reinvented. For instance, the wizard class can modify spells (spellcraft) by spending extra MP. I’m only in the beginning but overall it is great.

#896

i’m playing Xenogears, and it is pretty good! i like the dialogue a lot and for once i’m finding it hard to figure out what the big truth really is

no config menu though, what’s up with that

#897

Xenogears is one of the GOATS for JRPGs. It’s up there alongside Final Fantasy 6, and Chrono Trigger.

The depth of the story background spans thousands of years. There is a ton of history in the Xenogears universe. The characters are memorable, the soundtrack is phenomenal, and both battle systems for the gears and humans are fun.

So my buddy plays MTG with a group of guys, and he just got me into it. We had a booster draft last night and I’m so goddam hooked. I played a bit when I was a kid, but for the most part I never had friends who regularly played.

Just bought a bunch of singles online and I can’t stop thinking about the deck I want to build.

man this texturing on Xenogears is super good, kind of remarkable to think that this was released just one year after FFVII, also it’s pretty much the exact opposite of FF with 3D environments and 2D characters

and still they manage some great moments with sprite animation and camera positioning

I’m still playing Magic Duels almost daily. It’s very limited in scope, but free and a lot easier for me to find time for.
