Did you guys find any games you enjoyed this year? I have another 10 games I want to sample before I post my list. If we get enough opinions, I’ll post an aggregate list in the OP.

#Guidelines

The list
• List a minimum of 3, maximum of 10, new games you played this year from favorite to least favorite.
• 10 points goes to the #1 choice, 9 points goes to #2, and so on and so forth.
• Please post an English translation if you’re going to list a Japanese, Chinese, or Korean title.

What Games Count
• New games released to your region this year.
• Remakes and visible upgrades.
• Revisions and ports released for the first time on a console or handheld this year.
• New expansion packs to MMOs.
• Import games.

What Games Don’t Count
• Old games appearing on services such as GOG, Virtual Console or PSN Classics.
• Unreleased games e.g. beta tests.
• Game collections.

Violations will be dealt with harshly.

I haven’t played a vast majority of the blockbuster hits this year. So here’s my meager list:

Dark Souls II
Borderlands: Pre-Sequel
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze

Honestly I haven’t played this one too much, but it’s just like the last one, which was awesome, so it’s just more of the same awesome. Shit is DIFFICULT, however. Be warned.

I can only vote for Trails in The Sky, i don’t remember what else came out this year.

New assets and updates content that its original PC version didn’t have.

I scratched that off my wish list after watching a Giant Bomb Quick Look of it. Didn’t seem fun.
