That red dashed line is new too.

#204

Ok so new font will work when you increase the kerning between letters. Too bunched up right now.

And I feel like the red dashed lines are a step backwards.

Oh and the font used when you quote something is nasty.

#205

Can I get screen shots? My guess it could be browser + platform differences. I’m not sold on anything yet so your feedback matters.

The red dotted border was a quick change since I didn’t like the existing highlight style. Not a fan either.

#206

Sorry I was wrong on the quote font sort of.

It uses a weird font when you quote a hyperlink I think.

With the kerning issue I’ll have to screenie it laters.

#207

I dig the new font. I don’t like the dotted line highlight, but nor did I like the orange style. In fact, I don’t think any sort of highlight style is necessary for a new post or whatever. It’s a hindrance to the eyes.

Ok Chaps in addition to my complaint about the font (I really think you should stick to a Helvetica based font, this one is too bunched up and curvy) I’ve noticed that when I copy-paste text from elsewhere, it estimates carriage returns where you normally see them on your screen, rather than treat the copied text as one long string.

Doesn’t have anything to do with the font really, and I wasn’t able to replicate it.

I would have liked a screenshot, as not being able to see the issue really doesn’t help me.

#210

I don’t suppose there could be a Preference option to choose the font from a list?

#211

Use a userscript or style override script.

Do you not like the font? Can you elaborate what you don’t like about it?

#212

I have the same issue as Laboured when copying text from Firefox/Waterfox in Windows/OSX/Linux. It seems to be working fine with Safari, but why would anyone use that? Are you using Google Chrome, chapel?

#213

You just changed it again, right? I think I might be okay with this one if the font size were smaller.

#214

Too large. Looks ugly.

#215

Can I get some screenshots of what it looks like to you all? As well as what the problems are.

#216

#217

But what’s wrong with it. If you want me to make changes I need constructive feedback that is detailed enough to work with.

#218

The font size is like… 16 instead of 12.

#219

Yeah, 12 is what I like. All the letters are so thick they look bolded.

#220

The font style is good, but is too large buy about 4 points,

#221

I use Chrome yes. I have tried Firefox but cannot reproduce any issues you’ve seen. If you have them again, link me to the site you’re copying from and I can try it myself.

I’ve intentionally made it bigger. Though I do agree it is too big.

12px is too small…

Font family is now one of the following depending on what is available on your computer:
'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif

#222

I can dig it bb
