I will be joining Pebble (the Kickstarterā€™ed smart watch company) at the end of September. Pretty excited. Seems like a cool company and my manager is a nice guy who Iā€™ve talked to a few times now (and he recruited me directly).

It has been a good, and admittedly rough, 2+ years at Walmart. I have learned a ton, and while Iā€™m sad to leave my team I really am looking forward to new challenges.

Thanks everyone. Being able to at first tinker and then be more involved with this community over the years is part of the reason I am where I am now. Iā€™ve always been interested in programming, but I never took it too seriously. Over the years, especially with WYL I had to learn a lot of new things and I realized I enjoy working on websites and web apps. I then took programming more seriously and now I work for a cool startup living in Silicon Valley. :bow:

Itā€™s a tech company. In September/October we plan to release a couple of games for iOS and Android. We are also applying for grants to help us fund more ambitious projects and we will prioritize the projects that get external funding.
